CULTURAL EQUITY AND KEY CONSTITUENCIES

DORF is committed to serving artists at immediate risk of cultural erasure and displacement within Austin and aforementioned surrounding counties or who have been institutionally marginalized, under-funded, and/or historically underrepresented.

By 2040, the United States population is projected to be a majority of people from the global majority (non-white). Today, over fifty percent of Texas is made up of the global majority, however, this is not reflected in the representation within our art institutions. DORF aims to disrupt the balance of power and believes the best way forward is to support, promote, and provide resources for artists who are currently underrepresented to further their standing within their field.

ACCESSIBILITY

We aim to make our programs as accessible and welcoming as possible for visitors and artists. Please let us know if you need any specific accommodations.
